This clock is reliable, displays accurate time and has a good sounding alarm that would wake a heavy sleeper.It has luminous hands, making it easy tl see what time it is in the dark.Battery life is good, using a single AA battery. Also ideal as a travel clock.Very happy with this item.

I bought this because I needed an alarm clock for University when I moved in, so I'm just going to list the good and bad points I found with this product to make it easier for you to decide whether it is right for you!Good:> Small and compact> Quiet ticking> I found that the numbers glowed in the dark (only sometimes, not sure how that happens)> Keeps time perfectly> Easy to set and can see minutes on the inner circle (however not labelled)> Alarm goes off for a decent amount of time until turned off.Bad:> The instructions aren't informative, I should mention that it took a few moments of messing around to realise how this clock worked.(What I discovered: To set the alarm, twist the cog on the back until the smaller silver hand is at the right time. To set the clock's time, pull the cog out of the back and twist until the other 3 hands are in the correct place and then push cog back into the back) This is probably quite obvious for most people with clocks however.> The clock is very small, can fit right in your pocket actually.> Alarm sound can be quite annoying at times but that's what you get when you go simple really.Overall I really like this clock, I would definitely buy another one if it broke and it's so adorable and small, it fits just about anywhere, the simplicity is great and I would recommend this to everyone!

Pros:*small and easy to carry for travelling*easy to read hands* glow in the dark handsCons* glow in the dark is bright when you shine a bright light at it like a phone light or torch. Normal big light in a room does not make the hands bright. Glow in the dark does not last through the night.* I had a problem with setting the alarm for the kids. They went to bed at 7 and I wanted to set the alarm for 7 the following morning. There is no way to distinguish between am and pm. I tried to lift the alarm button up to set the alarm but it goes off within the hour at 7. So although in the morning it will go off at 7am when I set it and will continue until the alarm button is pushed down, I cannot set it within the hour of 7 at night! I even tried to set it to go off at 6:30 am instead and it still bleeped at 7pm when I pulled the alarm button up. I had very disappointed children because of this who wanted their alarms setting.* the alarm went off at 6:45am for one of them even though it was pointed directly at 7. I may be sending this back!The clock does tick which is neither positive or negative. Some reviews say it is silent. The clocks I received are not.

The clock does not illuminate in the dark despite exposing it to many hours of bright sunshine or natural daylight. It also has quite a load tick which I imagine would annoy some people. It does keep good time which is why I am not returning it. If you want a luminous clock do NOT but this one.

have all the good features of a portable alarm clock. use a small amount of battery electricity to maintain. nice alarm sound. sturdy and accurate. shame that this seems to be discontinued now

I love this classic blast from the past. So glad they’re still made. Handy and easy to use. Particularly liked that it has no light so my son doesn’t keep on playing with it all night. Plus the glow in the dark is great. Size, colour and use meets the purpose. Alarm is perfect too. Delivery was super quick.
