Great bike travel case
Great travel case. I only take off the wheels. I put extra protection on the rear derailer. Easy to use. I feel it’s a little too short of a rail for my domane bike but works perfectly for my Cervelo . Easy to push through the airport. It is ripping already at a seam on the bottom .

First of many trips with my bike
I was a bit concerned shipping my bike on the plane. Shipping and packing was as easy as ordering the Bike bag. The seat cover did not fit my seat :-(.I was super happy how easy it was to put my bike, wheels and ease of securing my bike in the back. The wheels are one of the best parts of the bag. it rolls in any direction you need it to with such ease.I used pipe wrap on the frame for extra padding.I will be making MANY more trips with my bike on the plane. So much easier than renting a bike and trying to make it fit to me.

Great bag
Worked great on my flight to RAGBRAI. I had to walk 1 mile with it, bag just rolled along smoothly. No issues checking bag with airline.

Nice soft case traveler
I was nervous about a soft case bike case, but I know several people who use this one, so I decided to get one. It’s pretty easy to get the bike in; only take off the wheels and pedals. I’ve traveled with it on 3 times now and no problems. It’s easy to move around once it’s packed. The only concern I have is that the rear derailleur is vulnerable. The previous model had a metal cage that went over it but I guess that was discontinued.

Protects and it's easy to pack
The bag and accessories make it very easy to pack your bike without having to remove handlebar or seat post/saddle. It's easy to carry around, convenient for TSA inspections. The one thing that still needs improving on this bag is a better protection for the rear derailleur. The existing guard doesn't fit very well and there could be damages to the derailleur if the bag were to be hit hard in that area. However it's as good as most bags in the market in that respect.

Not for carbon bikes if you are shipping; might be OK as checked baggage, or for steel etc.
I was unable to get this to work with my aero road bike, as the included skewer system would have pushed the fork legs further apart than I was comfortable with on a carbon bike, and the openings at the bottom of my fork legs were too small for the width of the included spacers, so I returned the bag. Also as this is a soft-sided bag, I would not ship a carbon bike in it via UPS etc. You might be OK with carbon if using this for what I guess is its intended purpose, checking your bike on a flight you are flying on. I would be a lot more comfortable using this for a steel, aluminum, or titanium-framed bike. Also, unless you can find it on deep discount, at 3 to 4 times more than a hard-shell case, it's very expensive for the convenience of not needing to disassemble/reassemble your bike as you would for a hard-shell case. You still need to remove the wheels and take the skewers off them, and place them in the included inside pockets (which would also make me a bit nervous with carbon wheels, as the wheel pockets are up against the outside edge of the bag). The internal strap retaining system seems to work well to rigidify the bag, though I didn't keep the bag so I can't say whether the straps stay tight as the bag is moved etc. Certainly the wheels on the bottom make it convenient to roll around, but be aware that since you don't fully disassemble your bike, the bag is pretty wide and tall when the bike is inside. It's a convenience trade-off for not having to disassemble the bike, but the bag may be too big for some car trunks etc. make sure to check the measurements. Other than that, the bag seems well-made, if pricey for the narrow use-case of sending your bike as checked baggage. I also thank the seller for refunding the cost without issue (assuming the refund goes all the way through) when this would not fit my bike.

Big issues with thru axel
The welds inside of the tubing prevent the access of thru axel nor does it actually fit with the end pieces, fork side say “rear” and rear side say “rear”. I would guess there is a component for fork that says front that never came with my order.Good idea for a bike bag ; bad quality

Despite “soft” sides and rough handling at airport - case worked perfectly - no damage......
I added the side of a cardboard box in each wheel arch as was worried about softness of sides of case. Loved not having to dismantle bike other then taking wheels off. I have large bike so had to lower handlebars a little to fit in case. Also bought extra padding to surround the derailleur. Easy to secure bike to case frame and straps support bike well. Lots of space inside to pack extra bike gear. Wheels on bottom of case are great - so easy to move it around. On return flight found bike case on bottom of pile of large boxes with pointy corners jammed into the sides directly over wheel spokes. Was expecting the worst - but the case worked perfectly. Looked closely but no damage at all to bike. Good job Sci Con - great case............
