Q: what is the size of this product please ?

about one foot long and about 5 inches wide. When inflated the depth is 3 to 5 inches depending on the amount of inflation. My wife only inflates to a small degree. She has used one for years because of her back problems. Note that after a while the bag seems to develop a small hole on the seams and starts deflating very gradually. But she uses one virtually every day and they seem to last an acceptable length of time - but she has had to replace the bag several times over the years

Q: I can't deflate this - want to take it on a plane. help

You have to squeeze it to let the air out in the same way you squeezed it to blow it up, while smoothing the air out with your other hand. I always take my cover on planes and leave it in an obvious place, like tucked under my iPad cover or in the pocket of the seat in front, otherwise I leave the roll on the plane because it's so comfortable I forget it's there.

Q: I need the pillow's depth to be less than 3 inches, so is that possible with this one please?

You inflate it to your required depth. On a plane, air has to be let out as altitude rises and it becomes over-inflated

Q: is there a strap for attaching to a chair?

No there isn't but the covering is a cloth type material and not slippery or cold. As long as you adjust to the correct size they rend to stay in place. Some of the ones I have tried with straps have not been anywhere as near comfortable. I have been using this make and previously one very similar for almost ten years. They are amazing, not least because they fold flat. Hope this helps
