I call these my torture devices. I feel so much better after using them but the process sometimes .... Ouch! And they look like crazy torture contraptions. That being said, they really do work. I first tried them in my chiropractor's office. Then I bought the whole set for myself. I've owned them for several years now.They are pricey. But you get what you pay for and the quality is top notch. They are light but sturdy. They've even held up to abuse by toddlers; Hot Wheels and Thomas the Train engines, oh my. They don't store the most efficiently, however. And they slide off of each other if you try to stack them. Either plan on lining them up or placing them in a box, bin, or bag when not in use.Mine came with a pamphlet showing the different ways to use each device. It's not comprehensive but it's still great because I wouldn't have thought of some. I haven't checked recently but the company had the techniques plus some on their website. I also just make up my own techniques. "I wonder if this would work here?" Or, "How do I get to this muscle?" My favorite technique is using the original device to get under my shoulder blade to where I hold my stress tension. I found the technique on the website at that time, not in the pamphlet. It was the technique that really helped me start to think outside the box and find ways to use these devices to work on the muscles and fascia.As a side note, I have to laugh at the name of the "sunset red" set. Hot pink. It's hot pink. I know because that's the set I intentionally bought so that my husband wouldn't take it to work and have it disappear forever. It also makes it easier for me to locate when it runs off for an unscheduled playdate in the toybin.
