This book is a way to depict life in old ...
This book is a way to depict life in old Egypt. It's the story of a young man curious about his culture and spirituality. I can't say whether the writer spoke to the indigenous Egyptians to learn their mind set or was this simply influenced by "Egyptologists".

Of Appeal for Some
I couldn't get into this book. Couldn't read past the first few chapters. I'm sure it met her husband's approval, Schwaller. To me, being somewhat familiar with Schwaller de Lubicz's works, I feel it didn't capture the essence that is symbolist Egypt. The nuances aren't there, and the feeling of being submerged into an "alien" culture didn't strike me at all. It reads more like a childrens' story, so perhaps in this light it is successful. I did like the cover art, so 3 stars for that!

A Master Guide
This is a timeless textbook, a tome for the student of the esoteric. It contains priceless knowledge for those who are diligent in their search for self awareness. It is TRULY a master key. This is a book that you will refer to time and time again. A "Top Shelf" book for the collectors of truth and wisdom.

Training the mind from the beginning.
Good story of the typical, from boy to man scenario. Good read on the desire to want something greater of/for the self, so it can know thy self. Again, from another's perspective of how to perfect the self, at its beginning inquiry of the I and the self; I am.

An absolute favorite
This is an excellent and readable novel that tells you more about the essence of the ancient Egyptian religion than all of the scholarly non-fiction put together. Note that the supposed follow-up to this book (Egyptian Initiate) is in contrast an almost unreadable more academic work.

Insightful.
The Sage pointed to the statue of the god and told Chick Pea, "This is a statue of you, of Horus." Chick Pea replied, "But I am Chick Pea." The Sage replied, "If you wish." This isn't verbatim but if you appreciate that statement.. get this book.
