Work great
Works great and doesn't leave big mess behind. I have used it so far for two vacations and they have worked great!

I ALWAYS have these around!
We travel often and I am sure to keep these on hand. We have Angel Fish, African Dwarf Frogs, Pleco's and a few other community fish. One of these disks lasts about 5 days in my tank. If we plan on being gone longer, we are sure to leave 2 disks in the tank. We have been gone for 11 days before, leaving 2 disks in a 55 gallon tank, and have come home to chunks of the disk's left in the bottom of the tank. Simply scoop out what's left over and toss out, then continue feedings as usual. This food is compressed in a tank safe gel and slowly dissolves, giving your fish the nutrients they need. If you have bottom feeders, they are quick to find the disks and work the food out themselves, helping the process. From my experience, this does NOT make the disks dissolve any faster so no need to add more with bottom feeders. Be sure to remove the disk entirely from the package. Don't leave it in the plastic cup after removing the lid. REMOVE IT FROM THE CUP ENTIRELY and drop the disk in the tank as far from the filter as possible.

Don’t bother with this
Vacation feeders are for new fish owners, don’t waste your money. Your fish will be fine without food for way longer than you think, underfeeding is way better than overfeeding! This had a huge white biofilm on it when I got home from my trip, this was about a year ago, everyone in the tank survived but I would still never used one again

guppies, shrimp, snails love it
and it doesn't mess up the tank! But my Bettas don't seem to like it much. When I put it in I break in a few pieces, the bits that fall off they grab right away but when I return the Betta sorority tank still has almost all the feeding block and the guppy/snail/shrimp tank has no trace of food. I have used for up to 8 days and so far have lost no fish and none seem starved when I return. I will continue to use.

Muy buen alimento para peces
The media could not be loaded. Excelente alimento para peces, se ablanda suavemente al contacto con el agua, mis peces adoraron su comida, el problema radicó en que en una sola hora, se comieron la ración de toda una semana 😅😅😅😅

Would not Recommend for Betta Fish
We have tried this product twice for our Betta fish and she doesn’t seem to like or eat the vacation feeder food. We have tried breaking off a piece as well. I would not recommend for Betta fish. On a positive note, it doesn’t tend to cloud up the fish tank as described by the vendor.

Block works great but fatten them up before you go!
I have a 50 gallon tank with 5 black neon tetra's, 7 emperor tetra's, 2 octo catfish, 2 cory cats and 4 amano shrimp. It had only been set up for 3 months, so the tank is not over populated. I threw one of these blocks in and we left on vacation for 30 days. Since its just my wife & I, there was no one else to take care of the fish. I figured that the tank would be an entire loss when we got back. Or just as bad, the evolution of an aquatic "Lord of the Flies" society would take place. But much to my surprise, when we got back, the entire block was gone and only one Cory cat was missing. And he was having trouble before we left, so I think the abandonment had little to do with his demise. And I am sure his flesh went to the greater good in an underwater repeat of the infamous "Donner Party" banquet! In any case, when we got back, everyone looked fine but a little thinner and slower. I think the secret to this extreme, but successful test of the feeder block lay in the condition of my fish before we left. Since I knew their diet would be restricted for an extended period of time while we were gone, I really fattened them up on frozen brine shrimp, daphnia, and blood worms in addition to multiple daily feedings of flakes and pellets. I let them pig out for a month. So before we left, they really had that pudgy cheeked, bubble butted all American fast food glow going, just like that loud jolly twinkie eating girl next door. So in my opinion, this gel block worked great! But don't rely on it alone. Fatten up your fish before you go!
