Excellent text and reference manual

I rented this book from Amazon. I loved the rental process. Works great. Would definitely recommend!

I love building websites. I just wished this book would have been geared more towards using the text editor specifically designed for those learning on a Mac. It would be awesome if there were Shelly Cashman Series designed for each type of text editor. This way a person can truly appreciate the purchase of the appropriate book. Allowing more learning and understanding as you are able to follow along better with the step instructions.

I recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about building webpages and how to add music or different styles including html5 with it.

I used this book for an on-line Web Design class that took you through different steps to design a web page from chapter to chapter. The chapter that covered changing your design for a mobile, tablet, and desktop device did not do a good job explaining building your CSS and why you put entries where you did. I think the editors could have done a better job on proofreading the steps. I ran into several snags that wee making me crazy because I was not getting the results that were in the book.

The book was engaging and helped me progress through my Web Design Course. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
