Nice Mic
Very good mic. Volume is way to high when plugged directly into your phone. The mic is super sensitive. If you have a camera app that allows you to control the external mic volume, then 👍🏾👍🏾. If not, you will need an external source to route the mic through to control the volume. I'm using a LG G5 and LG V20... The audio is better on the V20 because of the built in quad dac. My suggestion, G5 users, get the quad dac attachment. The mic sounds better running through the quad dac. *update* I am currently using a IPhone 8 as my daily device. This mic works great for IPhone 8’s. It’s still a little sensitive, so you may not want to project your voice as much. You would still need app or external assistance to find true zero. Great mic overall. Definitely a good purchase for the money.

Great microphone!
Does a great job! Only issue for me is my iPhone doesn’t have a headphone jack and this plugs into that - have to use the dongle, but that’s not the fault of the product! It works well and makes the audio quality so much better! I record a lot of videos using my phone! Def recommend it, it’s a great price!

Mic was defective: sensitive to touch
Product looked fine, but when I tested it and compared it side-by-side with another lav mic, there were some obvious issues. This IMDEN mic was very sensitive to being touched. Even if you just lightly tap the wire, several inches away from the microphone, you can hear it in the recording. My other lav mic did not do this. Therefor, I will have to return the mic. It's not acceptable to have this extra noise in the mic. I tried to contact the seller twice, to give them an opportunity to rectify the problem, but they never replied. They may be off for Chinese New Year?

Works well for me
I use it with my old Nikon V1 mirrorless camera, with the included adapter cable. The camera's build in mike has stopped functioning, so I use this mike clipped to the tripod when I record lectures. The sound is quite acceptable, without excessive room noise if I can position myself near the front of the room.

Gets It Done -- Mobile and PC
Works with my phone and tablet -- in the microphone jack -- and with my laptop using the "two stripe" adapter, in the microphone jack.Pretty good quality for the size. Clip it on, as designed, or clip to a stick if needed.

Good Mic for those with a Low Budget
My voice sounds crisper and lower than it sounded without the microphone from the looks of it. So, it does the job. I don't feel like I have to speak loudly either so always a plus. It does pick up sound around me though, even if someone is talking from another room nearby. But, I am not expecting too much for something below $10 so it's only a question of moving to a quieter location of the house. It's not super great but it's not terrible either. It gets the job done and I do not have to worry about a louder higher pitched artificial voice.

OK for the price
Perfect as long as you do not rub the tip. I had it pinned to a wool coat and all you heard was the rubbing. The clip broke first use too. When clipped to an Oxford shirt records like a champ even fro a distant.

Volume is erratic
The volume recorded by this microphone went up and down erratically, so I returned it. It was by far the least expensive microphone for smartphones, so perhaps more expensive models are not defective.

Surprisingly really really good
Honestly for the price (I paid $10) I expected this to barely work, and sound low quality (all I wanted was something small that would pick up SOME sort of audio on a groom's lapel. In fact, that mic sounds... fantastic? I show someone the audio and asked them to guess the price of the mic, they guessed $50. I used it by plugging it into my Tascam DR-05 and sticking the recorder in the groom's pocket. Super impressedDoes NOT work well in the wind (even with the little wind sock). I found that out the hard way. I've used it for two indoor weddings and it sounded great, but I used it for one outdoor wedding, which was... MY wedding :'( and the audio was unusable. That's an understandable flaw though. No strike for that.Crappy picture included, but appears as advertised.

Good sound quality for a cheap microphone
The microphone was pretty affordable, but it works and has decent sound quality. I can't discount the possibility that some static was introduced by the microphone, but minor noise like that can be easily removed in most audio editing software. It records fine when used with various devices, like voice recorders, cellphones, and computers. The inclusion of an adapter to convert from a TRRS (four conductor) to a TRS (three conductor) audio cable is really handy too - just remember which devices require which standard, or you might accidentally botch a recording!

Very good product
Works great with my GoPro Hero 7. Of course you still have to use The GoPro mic adapter. The TRS adapter which comes with it is a must if you use it with GoPro. Great value for the money.Sound quality is fine. I don’t expect magic here. It’s good enough for vlog when I am on my motorbike.

Works okay with A7iii
I needed a very cheap, simple and short lav mic for doing some documentation work with my Sony A7iii and this mic does the trick. It's omnidirectional and tends to pick up a lot of background noise (even when the gain on the camera is turned way down) but for my very simple needs, it works ok.

Worth the price
For an $11 mic, it isn't that bad! Sound quality is decent enough for the price and for my school projects it works great. My only complaint is that it should specify that you don't need the adapter if you're using it with an iPhone X - just plug the mic in, sans adapter, to the headphone jack adapter that comes with the iPhone and you're good to go :)
