Gibson Elite Lagos Coupe Dinnerware Set, Service for 4 (16pcs), Light Grey

I recieved a set for xmas last year and loved them so much that I purchased a 2nd set!!! The quality of the dishes are the best I have ever had and they clean up very easily

I finally opened the box and the dishes are beautiful. I love the soft blue and lip around the plates, very elegant.

I bought these to replace my old daily dinner plates mostly because they are dishwasher and microwave safe. First impression: they are cute and the blue will go with beach, farmhouse or cottage decor. The two bowls are great - no one needs matching coffee cups and saucers in 2025. That said, they are HEAVY! Especially the dinner plates. Take care when putting on a high shelf. Also, they don’t stack particularly well. So for the price they are a good addition to the dinnerware but if and when they break I won’t buy again.

Very attractive and solid dinnerware set. Love the color and the heft of the set. Especially like the dinner/pasta bowls. Would recommend the use of some heat protection when removing from the microwave. Enjoy the so much we purchased a second one.

Good qdishwasher uality. Heavy weight which I need, w1 breadeight helps to control my tremors. No fading. Stands up to dishwasher without problems. Have only broken 1 bread & butter plate so far. No room in cabinet for a full set of 4 so we make do with 7 b & b plates.

The media could not be loaded. I was pretty excited about these dishes, but there were a couple problems. One being there was a crack in one of the bowls, and I know this was not due to shipping, because you can see on the side of it where it was glazed over, but the top because there is no glaze on the rim there is a more open crack. So clearly there is no real quality control going on.The other complaint I would have is the rims of the dishes are not glazed, they are coarse, rough and scratchy. Not a great sound when your silverware scrape up against it, and trying to clean any type of grease or oil off of them is annoying. I also wonder if it's even sanitary having something like that?I was given a refund for the dishes, so I'm thankful for that. But I would definitely not recommend these.

I disliked how many dishes (5) in this set were broken and that one of the sharp edges cut my pinky finger. I'm so very disappointed. Now. I have to go out of my way to drive into town to return them and in no way feel safe on a new re-order. What a shame! Plus might miss a couple days of work as I cand get my left hand wet as a hair Stylist. I hope everyone else has better luck!! :)
