Second one I’ve purchased and I love them. So convenient, compact, and reliable we are starting to keep them in each vehicle instead of moving them around. Love having it on the boat in case of battery issues but also does great keeping phones charged while on the water. Flashlight and compass are added benefits that are excellent and give added safety. Recently had to use it to help a friend jump their boat and it was such a life saver and still had 98% power left after starting. Highly recommend.

I've had this sealed in the box for over 6 months. A friend of mine came to pick me up and their car died right out front. I went and retrieved this device and it worked like a charm with the "boost" feature. We ended up taking my car and when we came back their car battery had died again and within seconds the car was starting with the help of this battery. Bonus.. it was also 80% charged out of the box so we didn't have to hassle with charging it.

This product is amazing. I was recently stranded because my battery died. I was about to dial AAA when a friend stopped me and told me that she had something to start my car. When she oppened the trunk and pulled the POWRUN JUMP STARTER. I looked at it and laughed. I said that toy won't help. I was used to the old school huge Battery Sized Jump Starters. To my amazement, this little thing started my car using only 3% of its battery leaving a remainder 97% for many more jump starts. I was so impressed that I immediately ordered it and while I already replaced my battery, I am looking forward to being someone else's hero.

First of all it arrived FAST -as in over night! Which was perfect because I really needed to use it. It's small, light weight, easy to use/hook-up and it started my car on the first try!! It comes in a nice carry case, can be charged by a usb C charger plug (not included). Evidently it can be used to charge phones as well and has a couple of USB ports. Additionally it has a flashlight function (beam & strobe) that could be useful in the dark. If you're at all concerned about being stranded due to a low battery this is a good & convenient solution for less than tow truck fees

This can Jump-Start my small SUVs easily (both Ford Escapes - 2010 & 2014 models). That is not an issue. I am very experienced in the matter. All Five Stars there.It holds the Charge for many months. Once fully charged, it can remain 100% after a month easily, or even much more than that perhaps. That way it is very good.However, please give a "Manual Power-Off Button".The Manual says that it has an "intelligent system" which shuts power off after 30-secs. That works usually. However, it can fail too.This Model used to be called "Tacklife". It had the exact same design and User Manual Content as this "PowRun". I had bought that in 2021 and it served me very well. However, that is NOT Shutting Off on its own now (it used to shut off but no longer does) . The Unit is all right otherwise but it Doesn't Shut Off. That means it will keep draining battery when not in use. It DEFEATS THE PURPOSE of carrying it around to Jump Start. You never know how much charge will be there to jump start when you really need it. If you have a Manual Power-Off Button in addition, that will prevent the issue. Please consider it.Secondly, this PowRun Model does not have a Cigarette Lighter 12V Output (which the older TackLife Model had). Please put that Cigarette Lighter 12V Output back in again. It would be great to have a 12V Supply to power other things like a 12V Tire Inflator. I am not sure why it was removed from this version of PowRun. That was a wrong move by the designers and has made this model deficient in some ways.The "Compass" is practically useless. Who needs a Compass in a Jump Starter? You can use that space for a Manual Switch-Off Button.Otherwise "functionally" the PowRun is very good. You should be able to Jump Start your SUV and smaller cars easily. I have done it many times with both the older version named "TackLife" and this "PowRun". It is a very good thing to have all the time in your Trunk, as long as you keep it fully charged. You will feel lucky if you need a Jump Start and have this with you.******* IMPORTANT UPDATE on 4th May, 2025 ******* Please Read Below:Though I had written above that my old "Tacklife" was not shutting off on its own, that problem seems to have gone away. It is shutting off on its own after 30-seconds or so. I am not sure what happened last time and why I had experienced the problem at that time. So, I am correcting my previous review above myself, so as not to mislead future buyers.The rest of my review above remains the same. I would still like to have a "12V DC Outlet" with the old "Cigarette Lighter" type of socket attachment included. It becomes very handy to draw power from this device, to run a Portable Tire Inflator for example, or other small devices which run on 12V DC. That is a very important part missing from this model of "Powrun".

ONE YEAR LATER REVIEW:I was very skeptical about this little jump box but I have had it for well over a year now and it is still going strong! It works wonderfully. As long as your battery isnt like completely drained dead it will start your car! I have used it on several different cars and a lawnmower and it works great every time!Can also get quite a few jumps out of a full charge as a jump usually only takes it down by 2% each time!I highly recommend this product and am so very happy I took the chance and purchased it on a whim because Amazon recommended it to me as a sale item!

Got it for a gift and it works great and then got it for a gift for a buddy. I always travel with it and the charge last for a long time.

I put this device on a battery in a 2018 Jeep Compass that had already been read its last rites. Now, it didn’t start on the first attempt but on the second try my battery sprang to life! I gave this charger high marks because it’s very sleek, compact and portable, took very little time to charge the unit out of the box and it instantly made my jumper cables obsolete ! Add to that…it also eliminated the need to rely on the kindness of strangers to get my vehicle back on the road. In my humble opinion, everybody should own one or one like it! The only caveat I would offer here is that if you a person that uses one commercially (I.e. mobile mechanics), you need to get one that’s 6,000 amps+ to meet the needs of larger vehicles. Great product, arrived on time and does what it’s supposed to. A+
