Works great
Used for both RS232 and RS485 communications from a Raspberry Pi 3, no issues, just make sure you run the connection wires correctly from your equipment to this equipment.

Good for logging AEM wideband
Very easy to hook up. Super simple.Just make sure to install drivers otherwise your logger won’t see the com port.Use-the 242rx screw terminal for the blue wire from your wideband gaugeUse the ground screw terminal to run a ground to chassis. Or use the same ground as your factory O2 sensor for ground location.

Only lasted one week.
The product arrived both quickly and in good condition. I own a NABU PC and used this to connect it to a modern PC. Everything worked relatively well...for about a week. After that it would no longer connect. The same thing happened to another one of these units I purchased from what I thought was another seller. I know these are relatively inexpensive devices, but a one week lifespan does not sit well with me. I would not recommend you role a die with this seller.

Doesn’t work
When using this cable to read RS485 data it was regularly combining bits together. Swapped it out for a different converter and it worked fine.If you need to use for reading/writing bytes this cable does not work well.
