As a new teacher also student, this is one of the best books I have read- I will def refer to it over the years for support. Great strategies backed by research with examples!

I read this book to help me better teach reading and comprehension to my students. This book had so many great points and showed examples in the form of lesson plans. It also gave advice on how to implement guided reading and how to have the maximum amount of impact on student learning.

I enjoyed the book and correlating QR codes. It wasn't anything new, but it did have thought provoking connections.

The videos are the best part of this book.

This book should be in every literacy teacher's library. It's a great book for understanding how children learn. I love this book!
