Purchased these for a year now, on numerous projects. Will buy again.
These are easy enough to install or retrofit to existing handset doors.I suggest for light to moderate commercial traffic.

Getting replacement keys is impossible.
I purchased and installed this for my church 2 years ago. It works well, and does what it's supposed to, However, it comes with 3 keys that can NOT be duplicated. I was looking to have keys made for additional people who need one, and my locksmith never saw this type of key before and was unable to do anything. I wrote the seller, only to hear crickets back. No response at all. Now I have to replace the outside handle with one that has regular keys (and hoping to find one that fits the push bar assembly).

Duplicate keys are impossible to find.
Everything about the door push bar was fine, except getting duplicate keys made has proved impossible. All locksmiths I have tried do not have the blank to match this key.

Weak material, one of the two inside cylinders broke, previous to that issue the metal plate does not stay secure, it easily loosens and allows know to rotated by force from the outside even when locked

No door mounting plate included
This panic exit door lock does what it's supposed to. However, one should note that mounting plates to secure the door handle from the outside is not included. They do give a very small two and a half inch plate that is unusable because it's smaller than the actual hole where the door handle goes through.. So before you try to install purchase additional parts to make this work. Secondly which is probably the most frustrating thing is that there is no way to unlock the door handle from the outside or inside unless you use the key to unlock it from the outside. I was hoping that you can disengage the door lock handle from the inside otherwise always have your key on you because you will get locked out. As a feature where it will not allow the latch to engage, but then your door will freely swing open with even a like gust of wind. You will have to install a door closer as well.
