Question 1

Can this bottle be attached to a wire cage or is it made for aquariums?  If it can attach to a wire cage, how does it attach to it?

If you are creative you can get these bell bottles to fit your needs in any way.  I currently have one hanging in an all wire cage.  I didn't even have to bend or move the metal flap on the back.  I just took a metal paper clip and bent it into an S-shaped hook.  the I ran one end of the hook through the hole at the top of the bottle holder and hooked the other end onto a cage bar.  When I use them on glass tanks that are tall such as 40 gallon breeders I don't bend the metal flap either.  I just take some clear, durable packaging tape, run it behind the metal flap and tape it to the wall of the glass tank.  Not only does this allow me to adjust the height if the hamster has babies but the hamsters also cannot climb up the bottle guard and out of the cage.

Question 2

would this be long enough to fit inside a 20 gallon tank? and does this ever have problems leaking?

It is barely tall enough for my 10 gallon tank.  But there are 20 gal tanks that are long and some that are tall so it makes a difference.  I have tiny mice so the nozzle has to hang pretty low.  My aquarium is 12-1/2 high and the nozzle hangs low to the ground.  If you have a taller animal like a Guinea pig, it would be fine to use this if aquarium is 16" or so.  I have had no problems with leaking.

Question 3

How tall is this water bottle? Amazon is listing the dimensions as 1x1x1 which clearly isn't correct.

Hi my son bought it, but the bottle was not working and our mouse was not able to drink the water from it, so we returned it. I had to ship it through Amazon, because seller told me I could not return it, I was told that I missed the testing period (which I obviously needed to test if it was working properly)

Question 4

This bottle came with 2 balls inside, but 1 ball was inside the bottle and not the spout.. Is that a defect??

Could be since mine only had one ball inside the bottle and I removed it.. but are they two balls that look the same?  if so, could have accidentally put two balls inside.. I remove the balls since I find them annoying.  This is far my favorite water bottle yet!
