I installed one of these gauges in my Honda Civic to monitor engine oil and transmission temperatures. Overall the gauge is great quality, the installation was easy, and its easy to read. When starting the engine cold both sensors on this gauge always read within 1 degree of my OEM coolant temp sensor, so that’s accurate enough for me.I also like how many color options this gauge has.The one complaint I have is for this expensive of a gauge I think it should have a built in dimmer, like a knob that can be turned to change the brightness since it’s pretty bright. This is great during the day, but not as great at night. It has a wire that can be connected to the headlight switch to dim the gauge when the headlights are on, which I didn’t connect since I use the headlights during the day, but if you only use your headlights at night this may work well for you. I would prefer adjustable brightness, but that’s personal preference and not a huge deal to me.

Unit was purchased on June 11, 2018. Unit failed October 2020.Gauge worked great while it was running. In October of 2020 the unit failed. I discovered a blown 2 amp fuse I had installed on the line to the gauge. Replaced the fuse, unplugged power connection from gauge. When I plugged in gauge (Key off, so all that was powered was the constant power line), a component glowed bright white just to the right of the power connection, and then the fuse blew again. Component is discolored and unit has an electrical smell - something has fried in the gauge electronics.Out of warranty, so $50+ to re-purchase a replacement gauge from GlowShift.Definitely recommend the $14 3-year plan from Amazon if you buy this.

Having two temperature readings in one gauge really does help save space. I like knowing exactly what my truck is doing. The 105 is hooked up to my coolant and the 93 is my oil temp. I'm definitely going to replace the trans gauge with one of these dual temps eventually. I tested the sensors before I put them in my truck and they are accurate to within a few degrees. Yeah you could buy a gauge for a lot more money and have a dead accurate reading but honestly I think these ones are some of the cleanest looking out there.

So I threw this in to have a more accurate oil and coolant temp gauge on my weekend car I’m currently building. Installed it over the winter and the gauge lit up and seemed like everything was working. Started the car for the first time about a week ago and the gauge was working great, gave the car roughly 5 cycles (motor on then off again) and now the gauge went black before I even got to drive the car. I know my power and ground are good because I have 2 other gauges using the same sources that still work just fine. Kinda sucks I never got any actual use out of it but glowshit is emailing back and fourth with me about either warranty options or buying a replacement gauge so we will see.

Perfect dual gauge for my Jeep JK to constantly monitor my coolant and transmission temps. I tested the gauge with some boiling water before installing and they read 210° in rolling boiling water, so a few degrees cooler than I feel it should be but plenty close enough. Now for my only real gripe, some parts of some numbers on the digital display are hard to read if you are wearing polarized sunglasses. Some colors are worse to see than others, most notably red tones. Which sucks for me because I wanted to use purple for my coolant (HOAT coolant is purplish) and red for my transmission temps. It was to hard to read those colors accurately at a glance while driving. But the white and light blue are pretty readable so that’s what I’m going with and that’s why I gave it 4 stars. 😎
