Great for Scaring Mother in Law (Bug by Bug Ranking Provided)
My mother in law is afraid of bugs. My mother in law is also very, very annoying. I therefore decided to purchase these bugs in order to scare her. I here provide my bug by bug assessment, including a ranking from 1 (nonplussed reaction) to 10 (time for a new Depends)Scorpion: You'd think it would be pretty obvious that Scorpions don't live in suburban New Jersey, but my MiL is not the brightest bulb in the box. I placed one on her shoulder while she was watching her favorite Fox News show, and she jumped as high as Donald Trump's proposed Mexican wall. (8/10)Centipede: Centipedes are horrible creatures. In nature, I don't think they are generally fluorescent orange, and so I was worried that after the scorpion interrupted her creepy worship of Sean Hannity she would be wise to my game. Not so, this was the full Depends-soaking reaction I was looking for. I put one on her toilet and the glorious screams woke up the kids and provided me with a memory I will treasure until my dying day. (9/10)Red Bug with Black Head: This was an odd one. My MiL loves coffee more than anything else in the world, including her grandkids. She would murder for coffee. I placed Red Bug with Black Head in her coffee mug, but she drank it so quickly that she didn't even notice it was there and just gulped it down whole without blinking. On the positive side, there were no toxic effects so I give this one a 4/10Fly: In an unexpected fit of Fox News inspired bravery, upon seeing the fly my MiL decided to try and kill it. She hit it with a paper a few times but it did not move from the coffee table. Nonplussed, she shrugged and returned to a trance-like state with Megyn Kelly. (2/10)Medley: Individually these insects provide mixed results, but as a group I can attest to their terror-inducing properties with regards to Mother-in-Laws. I placed the bugs on the other side of the bed to where she normally sleeps, waited for her to retire for the night, and then simultaneously called the three vibrating phones I had hidden under her mattress. She screamed, then I heard a huge crash. I ran into the room and saw a huge hole in the window through which she had just jumped. Although my wife has initiated divorce proceedings, I still feel that this was still definitely worth it and so I give the medley a full 10/10.

Cute but they smell!
These bugs are very cute and just a right size. We are using them for 100 days of school project. I am giving 4 starts because they have horrible smell of a fresh shower curtain from a dollar store. The smell is really bad. I didn’t want my child to inhale it so I left the bag open to stink out the initial concentrated smell. The project with the bugs will be out of the house soon, so I’m ok with that. However I wouldn’t keep these bugs if I bought them to keep in the house. The smell makes it impossible.

Nice bugs/insects, good price, worth it
Nice assortment of bugs/insects. I counted 144 pieces total, 12 different types of bugs/insects. They range of lengths from 2 inches (cockroach and fly) to 4 inches (praying mantis and centipide). Some of the insect legs were bent out of shape as they are made of pliable plastic material and packed in a plastic bag upon arrival. This isn't an issue. I used these bugs/insects for my son's birthday party game as well as decorating his birthday cake. Enjoyable. Now that the party's over, I don't know what to do with these bugs/insects. Anyone care to buy? Gently used, missing a few pieces. LOL I kid????

“Look at all those bugs!!!” Son loved them
Update: been over a year and both kids still love these things! The older is 5 now, he throws them in the pool and dives for them, they cook them on the fake kitchen... really such a simple awesome kids toy... every kid needs a bag of bugs! These guys are a good size and tons in the bag, lots of variety, my son looooves them. Still have him run up to me with whatever he put them in and say “look at all these bugs! These are all my bugs!”

Bugs at Their Best
This is a fantastic buy!! Was looking for bugs for 9 grandkids for our traditional "bug hunt" in the woods while camping. So many stores had none this year! Where did they go?So I ordered and received this big bag of bugs and was so pleased there were 12 different kinds of bugs and 12 of each kind. Sizes range from about 2 1/2" to 3 1/2"+ and are nicely colored. Would highly recommend these for many different situations for prizes or activities. Nice quality, great price from comparison shopping. Amazon came through again!!! The kids are going to have an excellent hunt this year, for these bugs and also the rubber snakes I ordered from Amazon. One happy customer, again!

Big Bugs
A nice variety of larger-than-life insects. The Dragonfly, Scorpion and Praying Mantis are particularly awesome. These were a big hit at Halloween. We handed them out with candy. (It was part of a spooky theme we did.) Most kids thought they were great; a few wanted nothing to do with them, heh heh.

Family fun!
Ordered these as a surprise for my two boys, ages five and 3. Much loved by them, I get a huge kick seeing them all over the house. It's become a game now, one we all enjoy.*Snicker* sent some of the ant ones home with my father in law. He placed them in their fruit bowl. Scared the daylights out of my mother in law who promptly called him a turkey and asked if I had anything to do with them. I expect delicious, light hearted, retribution soon.

It's a lot of bugs
It's a lot of bugs, whish is what I needed. They are not as high quality as these bugs Bug Action Figure - Big Buckets of 30 Giant Insects - From Ants to Ladybugs to Tarantula but there are a lot more of them and they offered good filler bugs for my Oogie Boogie costume. Just know that you will be finding bugs for months. There's a decent variety here, but they don't look super realistic.
