The media could not be loaded. I purchased this backpack almost 3 months ago for my kid at back to school time. So far I am pleased with the quality and longevity. This backpack is the Big Student version by JanSport. A previous JanSport I received for free at a back-to-school drive, lasted my kid 2 school years. This Big Student version by JanSport is great because it has a lot of storage compartments and one for a laptop. My kid says that it doesn’t feel heavy on the back with 5 binders in the main compartment and the laptop. I highly recommend this backpack for students of all ages.

This has every pocket and space a teenager needs for school. They have been around forever because they are so rock solid in design and durability. Excellent product!!

Lots of space

As a college student, one of my biggest priorities in a backpack is comfortability and space as I’m constantly walking around campus to go to my classes.This backpack has many pockets (total of 5), including a laptop sleeve, all of which are fairly deep and wide. I can easily fit my notebooks, binder, laptop, and books inside with room to spare. Furthermore, it does not feel heavy to carry when all my materials are inside.However, the straps of the bookbag are not comfortable and kinda hurt my left shoulder. They’re not cushioned, instead they are more so padded. Meaning, it’s hard. I’m unsure if the stiffness and toughness of the straps will go away overtime as I break it in but as of now, they hurt.As a whole though, I have always found Jansport backpacks to be very durable, reliable, and aesthetically appealing (especially in the long run). I plan to decorate mine with pins and patches but the color on its own is just stunning.

I had an almost identical JanSport backpack that I bought years ago. I use it primarily to carry everything I need for the gym. The other time--it's great for a carryon when I travel. What surprised me with this new one--it has three compartments instead of the two I was accustomed to. I believe the overall size is identical, but instead of two larger compartments, there are now three--and the size of each is fine.

My daughter needs bigger backpack to carry her laptop, lunch box, textbooks and water bottle. This roomy backpack is a life saver. Everything can be fit inside

We get this brand every year. Kids are rough on the bags, especially the zippers, and all our purchases are in tact. They are durable enough to store and switch out when they want to change it up.
