I have been in electronic since the sixties and I have always soldered the center pin on BNC connectors. Recently I had ordered another type of BNC with a friction center pin and crimp shield. Of my first eight cameras installed I had to go back and replace connectors on both ends of the cable with soldered center pins on four cameras (all of which were exposed to weather). Being old school I decided if I was changing the connector outside I would change the connector at the DVR for good measure. Thus I ordered these and they are working excellently as I have come to expect from a soldered center pin connector with crimp shield.

These crimp on connectors are of high quality and seal tight. Beware !!! - these connectors do not fit RG6 Quad Shield cable.

THESE ARE 50 OHM CONNECTORS
Purchased and installed before we realized that these are NOT 75 OHM. They contain the dielectric material in the connector that makes them 50 OHM. If you are using these for video or digital audio, they are INCORRECT.Wish I had noticed before using all 15 of them for an installation.Complete Waist of time.Purchased using a business account.
