Durable Door Works Great!
I purchased this so my cats would have access to their food and litter boxes but at the same time keep the dogs from being able to get to the cat food. This door was just the right size, was extremely easy to install in our basement door and has worked perfectly. My large 15lbs cat had no trouble fitting through the door, figuring out how it works immediately. My dogs are all 30-50lbs so they can not fit through it to gobble cat food. The locking mechanism has been a huge help to keep the cats safely closed up and not have to worry about any escaping during home renovations with workers in and out of the house. The swinging door can be a bit loud at times at times but usually that's only when the cats each sit on either side of the door and make a game out of batting / smacking it back and forth with their paws. Overall the door has held up very well in the 5 plus years it's been installed. At times the locking mechanisms can be a bit hard to slide and lock down but I don't use them often. The clear plastic door has some scratching and is not quite as clear anymore which is to be expected but I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another in the future if needed. It was a great price and solved my problem of the dogs getting into the cat food.

Even works on a screen door!
Our small dogs were starting to poke holes in the mesh of our screen door. This product fit perfectly between the vertical supports. It was easy to mount and seems to be good quality.

Works, but glitchy
This is easy to install, but sometimes the lock gets somehow moved, or the door inexplicably hovers in the open position.

Works perfectly
This worked perfectly to give my cats a way to get to their litter box without having to leave the door open. I also really like the option to lock the door if I need to restrict them from the room

Easy to install
Use a 5/16 drill bit at the corners, the jigsaw blade fit perfectly. We are all sick of not being able to close bedroom doors because of the cats (why do cats hate closed doors?!?) I started with the laundry room as a test, since that's where the litter box is. Cats took to it easily, and it was easy to install. I will now be adding one to every bedroom as well. A little crazy, but these heathens will scratch relentlessly if they detect a closed door so it's worth it.

Great door/Terrible lock
The door itself works well and the cats adjusted to it quickly. The magnet that keeps it shut is just the right strength, not too strong or too weak. However, the lock feature is pointless. Our cats had no issue breaking through the locks within minutes of locking it for the first time. So as long as you don't need to lock them in for anything, its a great door.

Great door: have tips if your cat is stubborn
So well made for the price, I’m super impressed! That said, my cat wasn’t smart or adventurous enough to figure it out despite all the excellent training advice I implemented DAILY. (Putting wet food on the other side, propping it partially open, don’t let it use the regular door anymore, etc… check YouTube, it’s full of good advice) It’s been a month and I only got him to the stage of going in/out when it’s partially propped. I think the weather stripping and magnet just presented a little too much tension for him to want to push through (it was a mental, not a physical barrier). So I removed the top magnet, which helped, and then I removed the weather stripping which did the trick in just one day. It can flap in a strong breeze, but at least the cat uses it. I can still lock it one-way or completely with these modifications. I’ll probably try to re-glue the weather stripping in a month or so. If you have a smarter cat, or raccoons etc are a big concern I recommend no modifications- this is a simple and very well designed door as-is. I just have a stubborn or possibly dumb or whisker sensitive cat.
