Stranger Things: Erica The Great (graphic Novel)

I really liked this book. When I found out it was coming out I was really interested in how they would write this. I am often looking for graphic novels featuring strong, smart, black girls and women but they are often filled with content that I don’t relate to or that is too mature for my 12-year old. So, I was excited to read this about a character we were already familiar with and it did not include profanity or strong mature themes. Both my daughter and I truly enjoyed it and hope they continue the series even though it was supposed to be a one off. *fingers crossed*

My daughter is semi obsessed with Stranger Things and loved Erica, so when we saw this we had to buy it. I guess if there was a downside, it would be that it was a very short book. We need more Erica books please.
