Q: Will this be suitable for astrophotography and travelling inside a carry on?

Carrying - no problem for traveling - it's light - It’s very short to store and can be placed in a 20in suitcase.I often take it to everywhere. As to Astrophotography - that depends on your exposure plans - for long exposures you will still need some sort of motor mechanism to compensate for earth/sky movement. For shorter exposures it will be as sturdy as any similar mass tripod

Q: Is the rubber feet loose such that it can easily be lost?

Not to my knowledge. I haven’t lost that yet and I’ve had this for a while.

Q: I have lost one of the end caps for bottom is there a replacement cap i can acquire?

I think you should contact the seller. In the worst case buy FkexSeal and make your own cap.
