But alas, dear reader, my journey into sound turned into an unfortunate venture into soundlessness. And at $25.99, I suppose you get what you pay for.When they claimed this sound card was designed for the Jetson Nano Developer Kit B01 4GB and Jetson Nano 2GB Developer Kit, I was elated! The compatibility! The convenience! But in reality, it was more like trying to fit a pair of oversized clown shoes on a ballerina. The "driver-free, plug and play" claim had me more 'plugging and sighing' in defeat than anything else.The SSS1629 audio chip, our supposed star performer, gave a memorable performance indeed, but not in the way you'd want. Instead of a standing ovation, it was more of a garbled cry for help. But hey, if you like your music sounding like a broken kazoo orchestra, this might be your cup of tea.I must mention the "2x quality MEMS si-microphone", promised to deliver better sound quality. And it did... if you consider random bursts of static and unidentifiable noises 'quality'. I suppose it's like abstract art for the ears, in a way?The 3.5mm audio jack was like that unreliable friend who never shows up on time. Every time you plug in your earphones, it's a surprise party - will you be greeted with your tunes or a grand chorus of nothing?And to add a sprinkle of salt to this sad audio salad, this little fellow isn't even eligible for Amazon Prime. This means you get to practice the art of patience while waiting for your very own Symphony of Sighs to arrive.Still, amidst the disappointment, I can't help but chuckle. There's something comically tragic about expecting symphonies and getting a misfiring kazoo band. And as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. At $25.99, it's a cheap ticket to an interesting audio adventure.All in all, my dear Bicool, it's not you, it's this product. You're still one of my go-to for other tech goodies. But when it comes to this particular sound card, it may be time to go back to the drawing board... or at least back to the soundboard.
