This is a heavy duty magnifier with awesome lighting. It has two types of light settings, one that is white light, the other a more yellow shade of lighting. It's powerful and was priced below what I would have expected for this high quality of a magnifying device.

My five year old loves this magnifying glass. And I have to start off by saying it is very durable. She just recently dropped it twice. It fell apart, but then snapped back together easily. It has a mode with bright lights around the rim, warm lights, and then a mixture. It lights well and is a good weight and sturdy in the hand. We’ve used it for everyday activities (looking at flowers and insects, etc.) up to finding splinters in finger and hands. Great magnifying glass for the price point. Highly recommend!

I bought 3 of these magnifying 🔎 glasses and put each by my favorite chairs so I didn't have to walk around my home looking for one.Each uses 3 AAA batteries which I had and installed them. The lighting options are very helpful particularly when I need light to view small print.They're lightweight and easy to use. I am elderly and have very arthritic hands and muscle weakness.Clarity is excellent.. I am very happy with this purchase.

Works good. About the right amount of magnification for me. Lights are very nice. They do make a difference depending on what you are looking at. However, lenses scratched easily.

This lighted magnifier is perfect, large, lightweight and magnifies just as it promises.Be sure to purchase 3 triple A batteries to insert to make that happen.

Don't let this comment discourage you from buying this magnifying glass. I am legally blind, I'm very sensitive to light, my eyes are very picky.The battery cover fell off very easily within a couple of days of lite use. I hate to do this but I put tape on the cover instead of sending it back because I like this glass.The size of this thing was way bigger than what I assumed it would be. I wanted something for my pocket, this won't do that but since my eyes are so picky, there will be times when this glass won't work for me. This is worth trying if you're in the same boat as me.The magnification is very big . I've only had about a dozen different types of mag glasses, again picky, letters get big under this glass, I want them bigger, but that's me. Letters are pretty darn big!Since I'm light sensitive sometimes it's the light is too bright, sometimes it's perfect. The thing I love about this one is the 3 different light modes. If one color doesn't work, just switch to another. At times I don't need the lightI've only been using this light for about 4 or 5 days but I had to rush to review to try and help my fellow blind peers out there. This is cheap enough to try and if you have a lot of mag glasses what's another one in your collection?? I bought this one to start a bigger collection, I only have 4 others.The weight isn't heavy but it's not that lite either. I'm a male in my mid 49s with no issues using this. I'm not strong but I'm definitely not weakI'll give it 3.5 stars only because the battery cover issue
