Good book about illustration profession. i am considering it as a text for an illustration class. Nice illustrations, case studies, and sample portfolios. Excellent amount of information.

For my daughter who is an art student choosing her subjects for University and is looking to do a course with illustration and graphic design.I wanted this as a good working book not only for her present and future studies but for when she embarks on her working life in the future.This author is a lecturer (I believe) at one of the top universities for this subject and therefore will be good for my daughter to understand the experiences that this type of individual can bring to the book.She likes the illustrations used and the advice within it. I'm not an expert in this field but I have been told that I purchased well by my daughter so that is praise indeed from a 19 year old.

Avere in mano questo libro prezioso è una grande emozione. Ho conosciuto l'autore durante un corso di illustrazione e le grandi capacità di questo ottimo insegnante le ho ritrovate in queste pagine. E' una guida molto utile che conduce passo dopo passo alla professione di illustratore.
