Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e LTE SM-T725 64 GB - Silver (UK Version)

Great tab with super Amoled display for watching movies and YouTube.

This tablet is a few generations old but it still does a good job and is still getting updates.It's great for watching films.The only thing I don't like is the power button finger print reader. I don't have much luck with it.

I was looking for a mid range tablet for predominantly watching video content and reading. I bought the 128gb/6gb S5e in June 2021, and despite it being a 2 year old design, I love it.For me the key deciding advantages of the S5e over the S6-Lite were:Beautiful amoled screen for video and reading,Ability to connect via USB‐C port to an external monitor,Finger print sensor,Quad speakers.The lack of a stylus on the S5e is disappointing but having had one before find that I use them rarely and the above factors were far more important.So, screen, sound, and battery life are great and as expected from online reviews.I'm having no WiFi issues but I tend to use a mobile hotspot which is typically only a few metres away.The "jelly scrolling" is noticeable but I don't find it an issue at all, very easy to ignore. Look up "jelly scrolling s5e" videos on YT and see examples as this may be an issue for you if you are a heavy scrolling social media user.The device is running well on Android 11. This is likely its last update. That is a major downside, but given the alternative mid range tablets out there, I went with the amoled screen.I opted for the 128gb/6gb version, not for the storage but for the 6gb ram which will hopefully help keep it running smoothly longer into the future and partially compensate for the underwhelming processor (note that the S6-Lite has a similarly spec'd processor). Having said that, I'm finding the device snappy and have no issues with the processor for my needs including light gaming.It should go without saying that if you're a heavy gamer, this is not the droid you're looking for...

Excellent tablet. Bought keyboard and Bluetooth mouse. To use with it.

The picture quality is really excellent and it's very thin and light and it responds quickly. The battery lasts very well and shows little drain after watching a film for example. I don't play games on it so am unable to comment on its capability in that respect.But the big stand-out thing is the sound. Quite understandably the bass is not earth shattering, but what can you expect - be reasonable. But when watching a film the sound is quite remarkable. Somehow they have managed to create 3D spacial sound. If a car goes across the screen, it comes in through my window and goes out through the opposite door - how do they manage that? If the action is taking place in a busy office, it's just like you're in the office, the sound is all round. It is very impressive, it's not just stereo, it's way beyond that.Apart from the fact that I wanted to pay for this over 5 months but somehow Amazon failed to process that requirement and took the lump sum instead, I highly recommend this tablet.

Perfect product as always from Samsung! Beautiful, light and sturdy design and easy to use for study and entertainment and the battery lasts long even after watching YouTube. Sound is absolutely amazing quality and when you listen to your music, you will enjoy it in full. This tablet has also a sim card slot that is another great feature as it serves as a phone for you, too.
