Simply... works!
I bought my girlfriend a new computer; she had no way to plug her speakers in. I bought this - simple. No configuration/drivers/software, just plugged it in, speakers into it, they worked. Windows 10 system... It's a USB HID device so no additional driver is necessary. Sounds just like the original computer.

Return Buyer.I'm building a computer lab to upgrade some certifications. My new KVM has audio, but 2 of my new computers only have audio ports on the front.Plug these tiny little things in and finished! Everything recognizes them and no drivers were needed! Solaris, Linux, Windows Server 2012r2 thru 2022. Win7/10/11 pro.If you're looking for a cheap method to add audio output, I give these a strong recommend!!

Well worth the price
Sound quality is on par with using a standard plug-in jack. The only reason I say it's 4 stars instead of 5 is that the item itself is only like 4 inches long and if you unplug it it can prove easy to lose.

Constant high pitch noise
Both the audio out and in have a loud high pitch noise. I have tried with multiple ports, on multiple computers, with different mics.

it's a good product
Well, it's a good product and nowhere to get it but Amazon. I bought the wrong item. I thought it can be converted from a microphone to a TV USB port. But the microphone still didn't work. I had to buy a different machine instead.
