Perfect for programming Christmas lights or WLED and similar projects

Thought I had a bad batch, wouldn't respond even though the PC (Windows 11) was seeing the USB COM port and other similar boards worked fine. Turns out I needed to use the 2019 version of the CH340 driver, not the 2023 version that Windows had upgraded itself to.

You can flash them with tasmota, wled etc... but after at most a day but usually an hour or 2 they reboot themselves and data becomes corrupt on them and they stop working due to lost wifi settings or just lost data or software. I have tried using all 10 in the last 7-8 weeks and all have failed. Save yourself some time and money and don't bother with these...

Good bulk of these boards for creating neat little wifi controlled projects. Not had an issue with any of these, and test flashed every single unit on arrival to ensure no faults.Got a few in deployment and daily usage with no issues at all.

These little boards are amazing. Unit cost less than 3 pounds. Easy to program. Powerful. Capable. Good libraries. Deploy the programs over a USB port. And full Wi-Fi built in.What is there not to like..?

Every single one of the 10 devices refused to program. Poor product.

I've tried three of the boards with both Arduino side and also with tasiota and no luck. I've tried with both usb direct and with USB to TTL adaptor - While the Tasmota flash seems to work, I can get no IP address.

Exactly what I ordered

One of the 10 pieces came without the CH340 Chip, so it cannot be read by the USB port.i am not returning 10 pieces because of one but if anyone had the Problem that it doesn't work, this could be the Problem. If this one Was complete i would give them 5 Stars because the other are very good, the pcb and Material seems good too.

I have multiple esp32 based MCs that I use for fun. Tried 3 of these boards out of the pack of 10 I got (micro python), loaded my project on it and was able to get everything to work manually and individually. When I tried to have everything run off a battery or a powered through USB without a connection everything failed. This occurred 3X, tried on a different 8266 board from a different company w/ no issues. Trashed them all, not worth the risk.If you want to blink an LED these might work, if you want multiple sensors, modules and things to run off of boot when powered... look somewhere else. Pure trash.

Awesome bought 10. 9 of them worked but that's too be expected

I bought 10 of these a few years ago and have just gotten around to using them. So far, 2 out of 10 of this order have been DOA with no way to revive them. I won't be getting this brand again.
