Does not include cameras as advertised.
Item arrived and it did not include cameras as advertised. I sent a message and did not get a response so I am requesting a refund.

Junk Product and Terrible Customer Support Do Not Buy
Unit would not go past the Amcrest logo. I tried rebooting it multiple times. I then called customer support which was useless. Product was defective and customer support did not help so I returned the whole thing. When I had the customer support operator on the line I could barely understand what she was saying and she kept putting me on hold and coming back with nothing. Her solution was to email me the guide which I had with me. She said she had to end the call before she could email the guide so she hung up and never emailed anything. I will never buy this brand again.

Upgraded from an older system - good move
I replaced an 8 year old Amcrest system that required power and video connections to each camera. The POE is a huge improvement, less cabling and the picture quality from new cameras is a huge improvement. No, this is not a "TV show zoom in and read a name tag from 100 yards away" system but it does give a view of the areas I monitor with quality good enough to have a clear face from about 40 feet away.Recommended

Video cameras sub par all around
When I ordered this it said that it records if you bought the SD card. I did install the card in both cameras that I have hooked up and it does not record. The other issue that I have with the system is that you have to Connect to a hub which intern has to be hooked up to a monitor so you can adjust everything. Originally I called for sale support and they help me connect another camera I purchased from this company and now it does not work with the four camera system. Very very disappointed in the system the camera quality and the time it took to set up the system

Great POE cameras w/NVR
It's 3rd time I picked AMCREST 4K 8CH Camera system and it works great on all 3 sites.Android/Apple app works great and you don't have to worry about looking for old version and to download and install from not trusted sources.No problems so far - first set works since 2019 and I have no issues.
