A great resource for sketching in nature

If you've always wanted to keep track of what you see in nature but felt inadequate because you aren't an artist, this book may help take away some of that doubt. Leslie very gently describes how to get started with journaling in nature, explains what to do, and shows lots of examples. Nature journaling is a very personal activity - everyone does it a bit differently and this book gives a good foundation on how to start. This book is great for kids and adults alike.

Great book to have. Hard to find elsewhere especially for this used-in-good-condition price.

Great drawings. So helpful for a beginning outdoor journaled.

Certainly not flashy, black and white.

Another excellent book from Clare Walker Leslie.
