Great effect on my hair (4C)! I absolutely love this product! Wow!! It was nice to have finally found a product that leaves my hair hydrated and moisturized. When it dries it doesn’t dry crunchy. The product is worth the price and the definition of the curls is undeniable!! I use the gelee as part of a three part mixture with another Design Essential product (Curl Enhancing Mousse) and a climate control (another brand) and apply to my hair and depending on how much time, I do finger coils, or I use the first 2-3 teeth of a fine tooth rat tail comb to create great curls on top, or the sponge for the sides and back. It’s amazing how the right products can transform your hair. And the curls last! This product is a must have! Great results! I’m loving my curls! I’m often asked if my hair has been texturized. The answer is, “Nope”, and I say, it’s a matter of finding the right products. It makes all the difference!

I used to curl my hair every day with a curling iron and my hair felt so unhealthy and fried. I was encouraged to let my hair be natural and I discovered in my 40's that I had a slight wave/natural curl to my hair. A few years ago, I found a product that worked great. However, the company changed their formula, and it didn't work for me anymore. I ordered about 5-6 different products on Amazon to try. This one is my absolute favorite. It holds my curl all day long, it smells amazing, and it will last me a very long time because a little goes a long way. Even the next day, my hair is still wavy. I highly recommend this product!!

I bought this product based upon other's reviews. I have purchased hundreds of products over the past 5 years and since letting my hair go natural. I really recommend this product for mixed hair like mine. I'm of African and Italian descent and this is probably the best product that I have found this far which provides moisture and slight hold. My hair is very thick and curly with areas of wave and frizz. I generally wear my hair in a pony tail or twists. This product does not flake. I used it in conjunction with the monoi/coconut milk. This gelee gives my curls much more definition but it is heavy and seems to remain on the surface. So I last used this product on freshly shampooed hair. I saturated my hair with the milk cream and then added some of the coconut and monoi gelee to seal the ends which become frizzy. This combination worked wonders. A few days later, my hair was tangled, due to not securing it at night so I ordered and used the Avocado detangler and it worked wonders. I was hesitant to buy this product due to it's cost but I have to say that it's worth it and it is proof that you get what you pay for. This product does not absorb into the hair but it does not leave as much of a residue as other products that I have used. This is important if you don't want transfer onto your pillow or shirt collars. I would give it 5 stars if it absorbed fully.

Bring back this product. I don't care if you charge me more, I'll pay for it. It shines, it holds the curls, it moisturizes, it's soft and natural. OMG!!! best ever. I have been using it for over 2 years since I cut my hair to go natural. Now I can't find it anywhere. This product gives credibility to Design Essentials and if they don't bring this back, they'll be losing many loyal customers. They don't have a worthwhile substitute for this product, so bring it back or I will be looking elsewhere. Loyal but disappointed

great smell. soft, and defining curls

It smells good in the packaging, however when I apply to hair it does not have a pleasing smell. It is sticky and only works for me when I apply it when twisting or untwisting my hair. I get great curl definition and great hold. Cannot not mix this with any other product. You will see white clumps if you do so. On the fence with product because of smell.

I absolutely love wave by design hair products for my natural kinky hair. Myself and my daughters wear our hair natural and this is the best product that I have found on the market that keeps our hair moisturized, we do not have to use it daily, and our coils are always beautiful! If you have natural hair this is the way to go!!

Applicato dopo la doccia a capelli bagnati e asciugati subito col diffusore da un effetto corposo e di un capello pieno di salute. Un prodotto senza paragoni!!
