Q: does timer reset after each player's turn? If timer set for 2 minutes and you finish in 1, does it reset to 2 when it's your turn again?

For instance: Let's say you and I set the chess clock for two minutes per player and we start the game with your clock face, you take one minute to make your move and hit your paddle. Your clock face will display "0:01:00" and my clock face will start counting down from two minutes. Then let's say I take 30 seconds to make my move and then hit my paddle. My clock will display "0:01:30" and yours will start counting down from the one minute "0:01:00") you have remaining. Hope this helps.

Yes. It can be set for any number of minutes or seconds. We use it for speed Jenga.

Q: is there an alarm to indicate times up?

It has an alarm option but I haven't tried it.
