I use Henna for years and this is the first time i buy henna that gives no color. I applied on my hair for 4 hrs and it didn't leave any color at all!! Not even on my skin,Like what?!!😂

This henna does not give any color. Why write that it's red? It's very sad.

I left this henna overnight with lemon juice but got no dye release or staining.

I used the henna on my dreads to color it a reddish color and it worked great.I mix my henna with a coffee and lemon juice.I only used half the bag, and I still had some left over.Mixed the henna and then put it in the fridge for a day. When I took the henna out it was a bit too thick so just added some cold coffee and water until it got to the consistency of yoghurt.Put the henna in my hair, lots everywhere. Do not be stingy with it, make sure to thoroughly coat the hair. Then pile hair on top your head and wrap really well with plastic wrap. Get someone to help if able as this was the hardest part for me to do and make sure I fully covered my head. Then I put my hair bonnet on (you can use a shower cap or something similar. Then to bed with it all on my head.Woke up in the morning and rinsed it all out. This takes a long time. Do this either leaning over a sink or a tub as you do not want to henna your body in the shower. Rinse the hair until the water runs clear, make sure you move your hair around a lot to ensure you get at all the mud.Looks redder as it dries.You can also add Indigo to the henna before adding to your hair to make it darker (more of a dark brown/black). I am going to do that next as I want to do the bottom of my dreads darker then the top.

Good quality henna. Price could be more competitive, however. Love the colour. Highly recommended.

I am very happy with the result from my first hair colouring with this henna. Tried other brands in the past and have not been satisfied. This henna coloured my gray roots and did not wash fast. The first picture is after about 15 washes. The second with gray shirt is after coloring today. Thanks Anindita Peu for your advice how to prepare and use the henna, your post was very helpful. I USE different type of henna in the past but I am not satisfied with this product now. second time I gave it more time left on my hair for 6 hours, but did not dye my grey hair at second time as well. I give 3 stars because I like the colour.
