Isopropyl Alcohol 99.9% (8oz)

I use this product to clean the lens in my laser engraver which needs to be free of any dirt, grease or film that would distort the beam. Since that is a critical function, using a cleaner that leaves no residue and effectively remove contaminates is essential. The 99.9% alcohol fits that specification perfectly with so little water it leaves no trace once it evaporates. I also use it on other surfaces that need to be completely clean like my 3D printer build plate or anything where an adhesive will be used. It's also a good value for such a high-quality, nearly pure isopropyl. At the time I'm writing this, it costs about half the price of buying it from a leading industrial supply company. I can't think of any flaws with this alcohol, except that it's not the kind that goes in margaritas. In all, I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing an exacting level of cleanliness.

I liked that it was what I ordered. I do not like the smell of it. It smells quite strongly and it’s pretty bad. I wouldn’t recommend smelling it.But for what it’s used for it’s great. Strong stuff. Cleaned my wooter pype quite well. Did not leak on the trip. Easier to clean with than less powerful iso. Easy to use.

I have no idea why there is no place in my town to buy 99% ISO. It's great to have Amazon make stuff like this available. The 95% stuff I can get locally just does not cu it for cleaning electronics and vaporization equipment. There are several different brands available here on Amazon, I generally just buy whatever is cheaper when I need it. Wish it was cheaper though. Should start going with larger sizes to save some more cash. Would love to have a 55gal drum of it sitting in my garage!

I use alcohol to clean model parts that do not like acetone or other harsh cleaners. It has low odor charateristics so it doesnt smell offensive but like all cleaning products one must know their qualities and limits and also their dangers with regard to health and safety, this being said Maxtite worked worders cleaning small plastic resin and other build products from the parts.
