The inexpensive tape is overly thin and prone to tearing when you attach a showerhead. Attempting to compensate by adding more layers only creates a tangled mess during installation. This product excels because it’s thick, seals flawlessly, and prevents leaks when installing shower-heads or tackling other tasks where plumber’s tape is essential.

Better than the tape provided with plumbing equipment. I mean better stronger and doesn’t need to be over used just to support a seal. Love this tape will buy again.

Boy do I not claim to be a plumber but I’ve used lots of tape like this. Holy smokes did this solve many problems I have not had any luck with. Even using tape and/or putty stuff.This stuff blows any other brand away. Why don’t I see it sold everywhere? It is super strong. It is a huge roll and will last a very long time. I love the multiple color look it has as if great materials are used.Bottom line is, as it states. Three layers and if you have a leak after that it is broken plumbing.I would swear by this stuff and recommend it to anyone.

A lot of tape for your buck!! This is the way to go!! Easy to use. Larger roll than the basic ones.

Great stuff. Versatile, strong, yet easy to apply. Works for a number of different projects or needs. All around good product to have in the tool box.

This tape is great! It has sealed any gas lines (home use) I have used it on. No issues and no leaks. I would suggest this to others.

Nice heavy tape, seems wider than most and easier to use than other brands. Will definitely be using this from now on .
