Great book to read and enjoyed reading the book

I just adore Susan Branch’s books and Home for Christmas is just such a sweet little book. Susan tells the story of her own family life in the years following the second world war. Starting with the story of how her parents met and married, Susan paints the picture of what it was like to grow up the eldest in a small house in 1956.This is such an evocative little book, full of Susan’s precious memories of her family and filled with her wonderful paintings. A wonderful nostalgic read full of family, Christmas and love. An absolute joy to read, it made me reminisce about my own childhood and made me think that perhaps we should all record our childhood memories.

Absolutely love Susan Branch and although this cute little book was nice I just thought it was a little too expensive for what it was....
