Good value yet high quality item, having spent the afternoon chopping up boxes with it I can confirm that it feels good in the hand and made box disammebly a breeze.As you'd expect, the blades are sharp and the mechanism for replacing them is very straightforward. The design of the knife as a whole is pretty clever and leaves you with a nicely self contained device.After using it for several hours it wasn't too heavy or overly fatiguing to use for prolonged periods, it made the whole job a breeze so works very well. Given how sharp it was I didn't have to force it through anything so also feels pretty safe to use.

Already had a couple of old knives of this sort, but both are getting a little old so decided to replace for a job I needed doing which involved scoring plastic sheet to make the size I needed. Using this knife I scored the plastic sheet several times using a straight edge as a guide, then with a bit of pressure the surplus sheet made a clean break with the bit I wanted. Note that this was only 1.5mm sheet so I'm not sure how viable this method would be for thicker sheets.What I particularly liked over the old knives is the ability to lock the blade. The old knives had a tendency to get pushed back into the body of the knife when pressing hard. The lock on this prevents that happening. It does come with additional blades, but they're not expensive to replace anyway. The knife is also shaped unlike the old ones, making it easier to grip.

Much better design than old type, easier to change blades, quick designed feature. Quality manufactured heavy duty.

A joy to use, and replacing the blades a doddle, unlike previusly owned similar knives that just seized up and rusted. Excellent value.

This is as good as the more expensive branded knives yet is substantially cheaper. I found it easy and safe to grip, and I liked the handle shape and the feature of hinged opening to reveal spare blades. The knife itself had three extrusion positions and the blades were sharp. I would buy this again.
