Thought I had lost / mislaid my old Exide headlamp which I thought was a good buy at some £15 from Wilco, but boy !! at some £16 this one is like a car headlamp. Even the broad general beam is effective for moving about walking the dog etc. but when it comes to the spots the light is really phi-nominal. The rear red light warning flash is a good idea but could be larger and brighter as it easily gets hided in ones collar. The front light cluster is on the large side but looks apart, it is a first class piece of kit for the money. Even when recharging the two large batteries, there is a neat tiny red / blue light just beside the connector to let you know when the batteries are at power. You will not be disappointed if you get this lamp.

I used these to install my loft insulation and having hours of almost daylight wherever I turned my head was a life changing experience! Bonus discovery was the red light at the back which obviously would be handy for cycling or walking at night.The only issue I found was the 18650 cells that came with it weren't the best or balanced. I bought some better ones, but it won't take flat top 18650.All in all I highly recommend this head torch, unless you are worried about people telling you off for blinding them. Obviously there are multiple brightness settings, but 3 of them are very bright 👍

Great value for money, fantastic reach. You can seen for a few hundred meters. I myself am using it for daily use at night time in winter for work. Also for mountain biking at night, only downside is the wider led isn’t bright enough to ride down trails with, so you have to use the main torch which slightly narrows your field of vision.

An amazing head torch, use this for sea fishing and it is super bright and has a good distance on the light. Comfortable to wear all night and the battery lasts well

Have a had a few led headtorches but this by far the brightest. I'd not like to walking towards someone with this on full as it might blind you for a while, like driving towards a truck on full beam at night. That said there are lower settings which should be ok. Large rech battery is well placed in a battery case that sits at back of head so unit is well balanced as front light unit is pretty large to take all the leds.

In hand feels like it might be to heavy for long use but with the over head strap its very comfy and you soon forget your even wearing it apart from the extremely bright light which i use for work in otherwise pitch black spaces. It light's up the area really well, the battery lasts for days and the price it's an absolute bargain. 5*

Great product when it worked. Unfortunately lasted all of three months before dying on me. Now won't turn on. No obvious reason for the failure just won't turn on despite being charged and rear light working.

Very good light options works very well. With all these head torches with heavy use the charging point breaks, or the wires break in the main pack. Expect 6-8 months with heavy use. Use mine every day. But they are cheap enough to replace.
