This product was very simple to use out of the box. Pull of the cap, turn on, wait about 10 seconds, dip in the applicator in the cup of water, wait about 30 seconds to be sure. Then see what your final numbers are. Worked on the first go and have tested different waters about 20 times today. Still working

My EC pen of the older versions of this style finally died after I didn't turn it on for a few months. This one has been accurate within 100ppm's of the old style before it quit using the same recipe. Been using it over a month with no problems.A dunk in RO filtered water and a few drops of storage solution in the cap before putting it away and it reads the same as the first day.

I needed a TDS meter to check purity of my newly installed filtered water. Had I not purchased this product, I would not have known that the water was not properly being filtered; one of the tubes was not connected correctly. After fixing the problem the meter showed green light with low TDS reading. I can now drink water with peace in mind.

For the price you can beat it but the screen can be hard to read. It’s almost as if the screen has to warm up then it’s good to go. I use mine often

Recently got a venus flytrap in NYC and collected a bunch of rainwater but got nervous that the water was not low enough PPM. Got this reader to be sure. It was super easy, just put it in the water for 30 seconds and got my reading. It was 3PPM so I had nothing to be worried about., but good to know.

It's no good, I'm going to return it. It costs 15 dollars, but between 15 dollars, people get used to selling things that are no good.

I also liked the decent quality case it came in, so I can store it safely in my toolbox with my other gadgets. I can see why water filtration system manufacturers would never include this with their equipment because they'd lose a large chunk of unnecessary and expensive filter purchases! Very happy with this purchase.
