This Royal King Essence of Tienchi Flowers is a powder/crystalline form of the tisane sweetened with cane sugar. It will dissolve quickly in hot water, best in boiling water. It seems strong at one package per 6 ounces of water, but can be adjusted to taste or use (the package notes one or two packets per cup). Although I found it to be a bit too sweet, most might enjoy the sweetness.It tastes similar to Ginseng powder. I enjoy it.There are many health properties attributed to this.The supplier, JR Quality Shop, shipped it in soft bubble wrap, but the USPS crushes thin cardboard boxes such as tea boxes when shipped in soft bubble wrap. Be prepared to have it arrive a bit crushed and that might cause a tear in the box wrapping, but that doesn't mean it's contaminated or the product inside its individually wrapped casing is impacted.
