I buy this for my spa because "pool" chemicals and additives are about 1/4 the price of the same in Spa labeled packages. highly recommend this if you need hardness increased. If you don't maybe not.

You can get better chemicals. I feel like you have to use a extra amount to get the job done. But it will get the job done.

I bought this calcium hardness increaser to add to our spa chemicals. My husband takes care of monitoring this chemicals in our spa and he said that this works really well to keep everything in balance. We’ve used this brand of chemicals previously for our pool and have never had any issues. I recommend this product if you need to increase the calcium hardness in your spa.
