The outside surface of my laptop is very smooth and slick. When I pull it out of my computer bag, it is hard to hold on to it because of this slick surface. I put a piece of this tape on both side of my laptop. It works great. I get a really good grip on the laptop with no problem of dropping it before I get it out.

I bought a small roll from a local store and put it on a couple steps to try it out before buying the big roll from Amazon. It stayed put and provides a lot of traction for our dogs. The stairs are a composite so they get more slick when it is wet and our elderly dog needed something to help.So far its only been a couple weeks, but working great!Update 5/23 (5 years later). The tape is still on our steps. We've power washed it twice a year and used salt in the winter. Stuff is great!

I always recommend this product for use on slippery stairs, high gloss tiled entry surfaces, step-up surfaces etc within industry and residential homes.I have used this product within my home on high gloss tiles and stairs. I've had a zero failure rate over several years, thru rain and blistering sunshine.Application: Wipe floor with soapy water. Dry. Wipe floor with rubbing alcohol. Dry. Peel & stick. Roll with roller.Note: I have never tested this on porous surfaces like wood.I trust this brand. Cheers.

Bought this for my shoe rack because my shoes kept slipping off and it was annoying me. The roll of Gator Grip was just enough to get the job done. It's sticking great to the metal bars and those shoes aren't moving an inch.I'd recommend wearing some kind of work or gardening gloves when you work with the tape. I didn't and my fingers where I smoothed the tape are pretty beat up right now. No bleeding but the skin is all rough and gross.

Stuck pretty well and has good grip. Feels quality. I wish it was a bit more sticky

I'd prefer not to have to give this product a poor review, but here goes. I installed multiple rolls on smooth cedar deck steps, and hereby solemnly swear I followed the manufacturer's installation specs to the letter. It was easy to cut, easy to install, and stuck great for about a week. Then every single strip, no exceptions, started rolling up and detaching along all four sides of the tape. Unfortunately, for me, it was a total waste of time and money.

I used these on a ramp and they really improved the traction

I have an ultrabook (laptop) and anyone that owns one knows how slippery they can be. Yes, they look gorgeous by design but man it does irritate me at times that my laptop doesn't feel secure while in my hand or on my car seat. Well, after wrapping my ultrabook...damn did it make a difference. Wow...talk about gripping to your hands. Holding my laptop by the edge didn't even phase me as I felt really comfortable knowing that it literally made that much of a difference. Just placing the ultrabook on the car seat while in route doesn't even budge it at all while in motion. I'm a real believer in this product. Can't wait to think of other things to wrap my tape around.

Seems to stick really well,(time will tell) very grippy surface

Good adhession, good grip, plus it shows the stain edge, helping stair safety. Has lasted 3 years through Canadian summer/winter cycles. I will replace this spring, so you could plan on a 3-year effective lifespan.

This product is very bad quality. Does not stick to anything.

Easy to handle and install. The adhesivenessof this tape on wood worked very well under dry and wet weather conditions. The anti-slip property of this product worked to my satisfaction.
