The Fitz Is The Swiss Army Knife Of Audio!
More often than not, any purchase I make takes ages, months sometimes. I carefully read all the manufacturers specs, and contrast them with Customer Reviews. This was a surprise. It took me just a single hour to study it, and one incredible customer review blew my mind. So I purchased it (using a Gift Card I got at Christmas!).Where to start with the Fitz? Usually a machine that boasts all these features will, upon receiving the unit, turn out to be crap - loaded with false hope and features that aren't *exactly* as cool as the breathless PR departments hype them to be. But in *this* case (and honestly, I've had this only two days up to present) they ARE all true. And they work. And they impress.Okay, I'm assuming here that you've already read and soaked in what the Fitz can do. So I'm not going to irritate you by listing them. That's not my job. I'm here to tell you what *I* feel about this "does everything, and does it well" sound system unit.My setup is simple: A thing makes sound (TV monitor, Fitz, etc) is wired to an audio mixer to balance the sound levels, then a graphic equaliser to get the best from the audio, and then out to powered speakers (these are very old, still sounding great after FIFTEEN years, but functionally too simple now). That's it.So the Fitz is placed on a shelf, and currently connected via the supplied 3.5mm to two RCA phono cable. I am going to replace this cable. Not a fault at all - it funnels audio signals perfectly and would be fine for most users. But I love me a really good cable (see my other reviews) so I'll be placing an order for oxygen-free, multi-stranded, gold plated connectors really soon. I know. I can't help it. Let me have my quirks. It does ALL THE THINGS mentioned in the specs, and does them incredibly well. As I said, you MUST read the Customer Reviews to see how this machine is well loved. *I* love my Fitz. The audio is superb. Spotify Connect is so handy. I love Internet Radio, and here are my favourite 40 stations fully programmed - simply. It has Bluetooth and AUX IN but I've not used them... yet!So, here's my little summary (moans of joy from the gallery): Get it, set it, and be blown away by it. I've included a few piccies for you, just so you can imagine it sitting on your shelf. I bought mine during a "Lightning Sale" on Amazon, but it's seriously worth it at the full price. The Fitz is the future of sound control and the evolution of audio; from the gramophone to the music centre to the MP3 player to "onlines" like Spotify... To the future! I am keeping this beastie as long as I can, I love it!

Great u ir
What a great unit, I have integrated it with a Sony hifi setup. It works really well, so many ways to access Internet radio, dab radio, fm radio etc. Really pleased.

Very Good But Not Perfect
I was an early adopter of DAB radio with three DAB radios including a nice hi-fi model hooked up to my stereo system. Then of course DAB+ slowly took over and the stations that I listened to started to move over to DAB+ leaving me with very little station choice. The roof aerial for my hi-fi FM radio started to fall apart leaving me with a problem there as well. That's where this little beauty came in and at a very reasonable price. It's very good but not perfect hence the four star review. It's very easy to install and looks good. It has more features than I will probably need so there's no problem there. The internet radio works perfectly and gives a very good sound. The aerial doesn't work very well where I am due to my location. I think that it would have been a good idea to have a socket for an external aerial and it seems a bit mean to not include it as everything else seems to have been thought of.After a few weeks of trying the DAB+ stations and having mixed results I decided to strip some of my roof aerial cable to the bare wire and wrap that around the built in aerial. I then wrapped some tape around the wire to keep a good contact and keep it from making contact with anything else. This has worked perfectly and I can now get full enjoyment out of the DAB function. Please be careful if you try this method. The remote works fine but I do have to stand right in front of the unit to make it respond. I've found that EQ settings don't make much difference so I don't bother with that function. If you do use the EQ settings I had to reset it after every change of function which was a bit annoying.Having said all of that I am pleased with the overall performance and I consider it good value for money.

You'd be mad not to buy this...
I don't normally do the review thing but I'll make an exception on this. I've a decent stereo system mainly used for playing vinyl and it sounds bloody great. I still play CD's occasionally but not so much but I do love some DAB and streaming every now and then. This thing is not only cheap as hell but it ticks soooo many boxes it's just simply a no brainer addition to your set up.

This is a no brainer...get it!
Was looking for a product that I could connect to my existing system - Arcam - but did not want to spend a fortune on what would basically be a radio for casual listening.Came across the MAJORITY Fitzwilliam. Reviews looked good and price was good - so I thought I would take punt.Well, how amazed was I?I can't stop using this. It was incredibly easy to set up and just as easy to use. Flawless.Remote feels a bit flimsy but, really, who cares? It works! To be honest, I use OKTIV app on my phone so the remote becomes obsolete. If you are looking for a device like this, just buy it!It also looks fab too, I have the silver. All in all, 10/10. Cannot find fault.

Very pleased with my Majority Fitzwilliam 2024
Delighted with my Majority Fitzwilliam 2024 receiver with auxiliary input which Iβm using with my Denon DP-29J gram which has line level out. A small tip for new users, aim to connect to your 5GHz WiFi as the throughput is better than 2.4GHz WiFi and try to position fairly close to your Internet router or WiFi access point. Also make use of airable.fm for Internet stations.

Good value, does not work with USB
Good value for Internet radio, spotify connect works well would have been 5 stars if I could get the usb music player workingUPDATE ; USB music player still does not work, Tech support answer promptly but have spent 3 days giving contradictory advice that seems aimed at suggesting any problems are my fault even though I met all the suggested criteria and can use the USB drives in question on other devices without any problems
