Sonline 5x ZY-170 Mini Solderless Prototype Breadboard for Arduino Shield White

I ordered these mini prototype breadboards for my son. He wanted to use them in his science fair project. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that it was going to be shipped from China. They came well after the science fair was over and are now sitting in his desk drawer. Perhaps he'll use them next year. Nevertheless, the intent was to allow him to install different electronic components on each of these at a distance apart and not having to involve soldering. They would have been really useful if they had arrived within a week or two of ordering.

well made small breadboard with self adhesive backing and small notch/nook that can connect them together to form a larger unit.The seller should've made a note that this product is shipped from China so it will take longer to arrive instead of the usual one week shipping time..

These work great for testing the PIC MX170F chips with MMBASIC. A few may be housed in project boxes till boards get here.

Great for teeny tiny little breadboard projects

WELL MADE. DURABLE. BUT HAVE NO POWER INPUT STRIPS. ALL CONNECTIONS ARE PERPENDICULAR TO CENTER CAVITY FOR IC. I AM NEW AT THIS. I WILL FIGURE OUT SOMETHING.

The springs inside do not retract to their original position. If you insert a #20 AWG wire for example. Then that hole will feel loose if you insert a smaller guage wire. I personally need a more secure fit for my projects. These are ok for cheap projects.

The product is poor quality, it is difficult to fit components on the board and it is even more complicated to get them out of the board without bending/breaking terminals. I did not even manage to test if pins are connected as the connector (0.5mm) i used was forcing/getting stuck most of the times.

Good value and exactly what I expected when I ordered them.They are ideal for joining a few components together to avoid soldering when you just want to prototype something..... but I suppose that is EXACTLY what breadboards are for :) so I'm not offering any great insight here.The boards are of the same sort of quality that I've come to expect in breadboards from China - perfectly good enough without being expecnsively manufactured. Hence the very reasonable price for these items.I've given them 4 stars because the force necessary to insert components is a bit high; so thin wired components are tricky to insert - 1/4 watt resistors are no problem, 1/8th watt once take a bit of attention.I managed to build a crystal radio on one of these - with quite thin component legs and some thin wires - so only knocked off one star.

These are great. They are very small, but theres five of them. They are great for small circuits, I used mine to make small LED controller boards, few wires to an arduino, and place to plug in the cable from LED strip, and the transistors (and an single RGB led for indicator) fits nicely on the board, even has room for one more potentiometer or something.The pin pitch is obviously the right to plug in chips and other items, and contrary to most breadboards, especially the bigger ones for a pound and a half, the holes for these actually aren't too tight, meaning unlike the cheap ones, it is possible to plug in things on this!I really recommend this, it actually is high quality, do not buy the breadboards, they are horrible. These are really nice, most projects never use more than few parts anyways, and these can be made into amazing small modular modules, like I used mine.

Good product. Lost two stars because of the long delivery time

Cheap and cheerful is a phrase which has passed into disuse - possibly due to misuse by certain condescending political figures - but that's what these are. Although do bear in mind that - as the pictures clearly show - they're not lock-linkable like the ones with the notch/boss versions.
