The One Year Study Bible NLT, TuTone Imitation Leather – October 1, 2011

By it saying that it is a "Study Bible," you are expecting study notes on most verses, just like other study bibles. A one-year study bible organized the way they are with OT, NT, Ps, and Pr with study notes would have been a steal! But this bible has all the standard divisions into 365 days of OT, NT, Ps, and Pr, but has only a short lesson on an spiritual issue as the "study" portion. Just get a regular one-year bible or a study bible, but not this one. It will let you down, other than the power of the plain Word of God!

I had a tough time finding this because t is out of print. I did and I really love the Study commentary. The vendor did state that it was New, but when I received it, the cover looked like it had sat in the sun and was washed out. No big deal for me. I just wanted to have one with no markings, and the price was ok..

This Bible is perfect for in depth Bibke study. An excellent tool for my faith journey!

This is my second time reading the Bible in a year. My first time was with the New Kings James version and I have to admit, I struggled to read it daily. This time however, I LOVE ending my day with the Word of God. This version is so readable and relateable that even my seven year old asks me to read it with him,

I have been reading the Bible thru every year for ? 30 years ? And this is my favorite of all these 'annual' Bibles. They have 'extras' for each day that are actually 'worth' reading - (not time consuming, either) --- I don't care for these laid back traslations - but for a daily reading it's OK ... (for my study & writing messages I use K.J.V. or Amplified) -- I purchased the paperback and have 'outlined' it with shipping tape along the edges and binding - not that it WAS falling apart, but to keep it from it. Printing is a nice size (not too small) ... I recommend this 'particular' one above the rest.

Wonderful bible to encourage reading through the bible in a year. I use it every other year, offsetting with my NASB. I have given it to lots of beginning bible readers, because it is worded in such a way to make sense, but still be scripturally accurate. The insets are valuable helps too.

Wow, I read that this one year bible bible is very good but I did not expect to fall in love with it - but I have and that is rare for me!The Study parts are enjoyable and the books has a good size font and great layout. The dimensions of the book and the imitation leather feel nice in the hand.I could go on for ever but simply I want to state that I enjoy the NLT translation which is the Second Edition and I never read it before.I love this bible.

I have only been reading and studying it for a couple of weeks and it's a lot to absorb. Having said that it is a great read !

This Bible is really handy fir morning devotions. Being able to switch between New and Old Testament every day makes it so much easier to read through the whole Bible without getting stuck in Leviticus or Numbers. I high;y recommend to anyone who is interesting in reading the whole Bible in a contemporary language!
