Q: Did anyone experience a detox when starting?

Yes. I started taking one capsule three times a day right before a meal, about a week ago. I feel like I have a mild flu. I'm going to empty half of the powder out and just take 1/2 a dose and see how that goes. By the way, I've lowed my fasting glucose by 20 pts in the morning. I don't want to stop taking this because I think it's helping me, but I do not like this flu like feeling.

Q: since so many pharmaceuticals are now produced in China. is there any way to tell if this is also produced in China? i couldn't get a straight answer

In india you get fake thorne with no safety seal on the cap

When i bought it , it had no safety seal on the cap and had just aluminium cover on the cap, most probably it was fake... see youtube video of thorne product unboxing to understand what is safety seal. Attached pic is of safety seal on the cap taken from internet

Disappointed with Quantity, Despite Trust in Thorne Quality

The media could not be loaded. I have trusted Thorne for their high-quality supplements, so I was quite disappointed with my recent purchase of Thorne Berberine. Upon opening the bottle, I removed a large sponge and noticed that the number of capsules was noticeably less than the 60 advertised. After counting, I found only 48 capsules in the bottle.This discrepancy is quite concerning, especially from a reputable brand like Thorne. While I have no doubt about the quality and efficacy of the product itself, this experience has shaken my confidence. I hope this is an isolated incident and that Thorne will take measures to ensure accurate product counts in the future.
