Q: Does this have any effect on acrylics?

Yes I've used it to soak off acrylic nails. As with acetone, you have to apply a layer, leave it on for a few minutes, then scrape the softened acrylic away. You need to apply another layer of the product, leave for a few minutes, then scrape. Keep repeating until all of the acrylic is removed (normally takes me about 4 applications of the product) then buff the natural nail to remove any residue and apply nail oil. Nails are good as new!

Q: Does this remove uv gel polish?

Yes. You need to make sure you buff off the top of the polish to provide a way for the chemicals to penetrate the gel polish. In my experience this product can be quite glossy but it works for sure. The heavier the polish layers though, you'll probably find you need more than one application.

Q: Can i use this to remove gel polish without damaging acrylic nails?

This removes acrylic as well as gel nail polish so your acrylic nails would probably be damaged under the gel. You should be able to remove gel polish from your acrylic nails by filing with a 180 grade nail file, then buffing the acrylic to remove any roughness. You can then apply another gel polish.
