Works good on eos m3 too
Bought the gr3 version for my canon eos m3 and it works great on that camera too. With some blu tack under the hot shoe it stays in place reasonably well and provides a good bit of extra grip when shooting in portrait. It does cover the mode dial on the m3 but it wasn't originally designed for that camera and tbh I dont ever use the mode dial, it just stays in manual with auto ISO.

A useful addition to the Ricoh GRIII(X)
Quite light and possibly a bit flimsy but it's a good firm fit in the camera hot shoe. Makes the camera easier to hold especially if shooting one-handed and doesn't get in the way of the controls. A worthwhile addition.

Quality item
I thought perhaps a bit excessive when ordering but I do like a gadget ! But I must say it is really useful as just makes the camera do much more secure and safe in your hands.

Thumbs up for theThumbs Up!
I was finding it annoying when holding my Ricoh GR3X in one hand that my thumb was pressing the exposure compensation dial. Installing the JJC Thumb Grip cured this immediately. It also makes holding the little Ricoh single handed more secure. It is marginally harder to turn the camera on and off but this is a small price to pay for the benefits. As always JJC camera accessories are well made and fit the camera perfectly.

Great value, works exactly as described
Love the product, perfect fit in my new GRiii!Only gave 4 stars as I wish there was an all metal option, or that the stuck on piece of vinyl/faux leather was rubberised or just the same as the rest of the thumb grip.That's just personal preference though, lovely addition and definitely recommend.

Adds stability
What's not to like from JJC. It fits snugly into the hotshoe and won't fall out when the camera is held upside down. A great thumb grip which does add stability when framing a short holding the camera. Wish it came from Ricoh as an accessory.

No if you are using back focus and exposition compensation
Don't buy it if you use back focus and exposition compensation. The thing gets in the way and prevent adequate usage of these functions.

Prima upgrade
Iets te duur voor wat je krijgt, maar hiermee en zeker in combinatie met de grip kan je wel veel gemakkelijker met 1 hand bedienen

Sitzt perfekt in der Blitzschuhaufnahme. Meiner Meinung nach verbessert es vor allem das einhändige Handling mit der Kamera. Daher nehme ich den Nachteil der durcch den Thumbs Up Grip etwas verringerten Kompaktheit der GR III in Kauf.
