Well made product
This fuel sender worked great after I modified it to fit my needs. The mounting plate was too small so I had to make a plate that was 3 5/8" to fit the hole in my 1967 Pontiac Catalina, then because there was no pickup tube I had to install one. All said and done I now have a functioning gas gauge

Works as intended
Easy to follow clear instructions to configure for whatever tank you’re trying to install it in. Works exactly as you’d want it to.

Not sure what to think about this.
Installed in my 47 Kaiser street rod project. (1950s Chevy tank). I swapped the 6 bolt sender mount flange to this 5 bolt sender easily, so no adaptor needed. Installed the float, full length, hooked up jumper wires to test the sender and gauge out of the tank, worked perfectly. I had to cut the float rod very short for the 7" depth. After that, the float hardly moved on its own. The spring tension is too great for the short rod. Installed it, added gas, the gauge level went up, it will be a while to see if the float moves down on its own, I don't think it will. I will change my review if it does. The old float travels up and down on its own weight. May have to do a major conversion, and merge the two units together. The sender unit box was free floating in a larger box, the float set screw was out rolling around in the big box. I would have bought the $16 bosh if it where the proper ohms. I've modified this and installed after receiving it today, other wise I'd send it back.

Works Fine
Works fine for me. Installed in an Aero gas tank in a Jeep. I needed a 0-90 ohm sender for my aftermarket gauges, and this one was very cost-effective. It was easy to adjust for tank depth and to install (the harder part is dropping and reinstalling the tank itself)
