Just what I needed to work as a USB headset adapter for Switch!
Recently, I got a set of Turtle Beach gaming headphones that work with all modern consoles and PC through a little dongle, and also have Simultaneous Bluetooth connectivity to hook up to my iPhone. This is very important to me because I'm partially blind and hate taking off my headphones to hear my screen reader, VoiceOver, read notifications or other things, like dialog text in games which I use my iPhone's camera to scan and read through Microsoft's Seeing AI app. Anyway, I agonized over getting the Turtle Beach set or one by Steel Series because the TB headset has a USB A dongle, and Steel Series has a USB C dongle. In undocked mode, my Switch only has a USB C port. I bought the TB anyway, and love them. I then scoured the internet for a USB to USB C adapter, but could only find the opposite of this until I happened across Apple's adapter. To save a couple bucks I ordered used, like new from Amazon warehouse and am absolutely thrilled at the result! I don't find it especially awkward to have the adapter, which is very short, then the dongle dangling from my Switch; it doesn't get in the way in my experience. It functions perfectly, and I couldn't be more pleased. One bonus, which I plan to test soon, is that I might be able to plug in a USB A thumb or hard drive into my iPhone's USB C port! Overall, I could not be more pleased!

Connects USB A device to Thunderbolt port
The new iMac with M3 chip only has Thunderbolt ports. If you need to connect several devices to your iMac, you can purchase a hub that provides many different types of connectors. In my case I just needed to connect my back up hard drive from my previous iMac. I wanted to do this easily and quickly and this cable/adapter is the answer. Thoughtfully made by Apple because they know you are going to need it when they didn't provide any older type connectors on the new iMac. It does exactly what I need and since it is an Apple product, I assume it will work fine and last a long time. Was able to connect my external hard drive without any issues at all and quickly started backing up my new iMac. I had to learn about Thunderbolt ports and it was a little confusing to me at first. This cable is an easy solution, without researching hubs and compatibility issues or anything else. Just pay the price for this Apple product and plug in the device you need to.

Great adapter since my Mac Book is newer than my IPhone
Nice to find this on Amazon since I don’t have an Apple Store near me.

Order new and got a used one
Five stars only because the product works as expected. But I have two complaints:#1. It's a shame I have had to buy so many of these in order to plug in devices. I have 4 plug-ins on my computer. I bought an adapter to plug in my printer, one to plug in my scanner, one to plug in my back-up drive, one to plug in my wired mouse (because my Apple mouse has a mind of its own), one for my laptop. Almost $100. Shame on Apple!#2. I ORDERED A NEW ONE AND RECEIVED A USED ONE. Shame on the dealer and on Amazon for allowing such.
