I bought this fan, the 18" version.The fan itself seems pretty good, gives out a lot of air.The issues for me, is that it sounds like an aeroplane starting up, and the 18" version is massive, to big for a bedroom. I would only recommend that size for a large, open plan room.I've used it for an hour or so, it is a little premature to talk about longevity etc. Assume it is good, and if anything changes, and I can be bothered, I'll update the review.

wow for 20pounds it the cheapest i could find. and it seems very well built. already i order another one. what great value.

this fan is very powerful and is great for cooling spaces but after 3 months off use, it will no longer stand up and is now always facing vertically. I have tried to tighten the bolts on the side but this hasn't helped I now have to lean it against an object to keep it facing horizontally, which in turn restricts the available air that it can push reducing its power.
